A Few of my Favorite Things

Some of my favorite bloggers have written about their favorite things and it’s inspired me.  Plus, it’s a fun way to find out new fun things to do and get! So here we go.

The BeBrand headbands. They get kind of sweaty during a workout, but they’re so comfy and super duper cute

My CSA!!! Cannot shout it from the rooftop enough. It definitely matters which farm you get yours from, but in general you’re supporting agriculture and local farms and that I L O V E!! CSA stands for community supported agriculture. Basically you “buy into” a farm to support its growth and whatever they grow they split between the “shareholders.” Obviously the bounty depends on the prosperity of the farm and the weather that season. But I’ve never been disappointed.

Overnight oatmeal. I always love overnight oatmeal, but lately I have adjusted my recipe and just can’t get enough of it. I’ve been mixing ½ cup oatmeal, ¾ cup milk, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1 banana, and 1-2 tsp of maple syrup. The banana sits overnight and makes the oatmeal a bit sweeter and we all know how delicious maple syrup and peanut butter is! Excuse me while I salivate...and I apologize for no picture of it but here’s some oatmeal!

Comfy bathing suits! Out are the days of skimpy bathing suits and in are the days of sporty yet cute bathing suits. I’m all about keeping those girls in place and being comfy. After all, I’m usually in my bathing suit in Maine with my parents and I just want to enjoy myself, not worry about being “too revealing.” I also love how it makes me feel so strong, but maybe that’s just my chiseled arms 😂

Jumpsuits! I mean, duh. Look at how cute they are despite my body type (short and top heavy) being a bit challenging given the style. This one is a bit long in the legs but I still rock it. I’m so modest...

Dogs!!! I miss them terribly.

Spontaneous nights out. Friday after work I planned to workout (if I could muster the energy) and crash HARD. Instead I said yes to a meeting some coworkers at Brewers Fork for a drink to celebrate one coworker’s next adventure. I almost didn’t go because I was so tired but I knew I’d just be alone at my apartment. And so I went and I have ZERO regrets. We drank (a lot) and ate delicious pizza and never stopped laughing. Of course the headache the next day and pizza eaten at 11 wasn’t my finest moment, but I still don’t regret it.
