A Vermont Wedding

This past weekend I trekked up to Vermont. Besides the annoying bus travel everything was perfect.

Friday night I “catered” the rehearsal dinner. Which basically meant I set up, cleaned up, and made sure everyone was happy and stress free. We crushed a lot of pizzas and Vermont beer.

That night we drove to Sterling Rodge Cabins to spend the night. My greatest accomplishment was fitting the leftover pizzas in the fridge. I knew my mom would be proud.

Saturday morning was literally perfect. One of my favorite memories was sitting on the porch overlooking the pond, drinking coffee and talking with Jordan and Daniel. You can’t not smile when you’re with this family. After a while we all went out for a run/walk/bike ride.

Then it was time to get ready!! I love a reason to get dressed up because most days I throw on a flowy dress or workout clothes. I think I clean up decently, though!

And finally a wedding to dream of:

Sunday was spent drinking water, eating fruit and vegetables, and rearranging travel plans. My original bus was delayed 3+ hours at the border so I switched to the Megabus. Bright side? I had to go downtown to catch the bus so I got to walk through Church Street and feel ALL THE FEELS. Miss this place but honestly love where my life has gone.
